December 8, 2008 — L-3 Communications Corp. L-3 Vertex Aerospace, a subsidiary of L-3 Communications Corp. has agreed to pay $4 Million to settle a qui tam claim filed against it by one of its employees, Henry W. Roderigas. The allegations of the case were that after L-3 received a contract to provide the U.S. Army with helicopter maintenance services at Camp Taji, Iraq, L-3 submitted false time records and inflated claims for hours worked by the company employees during the periods from March 2004 through August 2005.
